OUR POLICIES

Ensuring the Best Experience

Head lice protocol

Due to the nature of our business, we kindly ask that you refrain from booking an appointment and cancel any existing appointments if you or your child(ren) are experiencing or suspect head lice.

If head lice is found during an appointment, our salon staff will cease services immediately, and discreetly inform the patron or the parental guardian of the patron of their findings.

Services cannot commence on that patron again until the head lice is gone.

If a case or suspected case of headlice is found on a customer, all tools at that station and the station itself will immediately be cleaned and thoroughly sterilized.

Operating Changes Due to COVID

A mask or a face covering is always required when entering the salon, for those over the age of 2.  Upon arrival your temperature will be taken, and you will be asked a series of screening questions.  The screening is applicable to all ages.

Ways we are working to keep you safe while visiting our store:

In addition to performing daily self-assessments, our staff are required to wear a mask at all times while in common office spaces.

Capacity limitations and social distancing guidelines are in effect inside the salon, and we ask that you adhere to them where possible.

Our salon staff sterilize high touch surfaces and stations after each customer, and a thorough clean and sterilization are performed at the close of every business day.

To All of Our Valued Customers,

At Ohana Family Salon, the health and safety of our customers and employees is a top priority.

We are continuing to follow federal, provincial, and municipal guidelines, and are doing everything we can to help keep our community stay safe during these uncertain times.

We will be continuing to follow guidelines set forth by Public Health and the Office of the Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health to ensure the safety of our staff as well as our customers.

To help ensure the safety of our technicians, we kindly ask that you refrain from booking an appointment and cancel any existing appointments if you have COVID-19, are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19, have been in contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 or if you have been out of the country within the last 14 days.

For the health and safety of all our staff and customers, our salon staff has been instructed to cease interaction should they feel unsafe or at risk at any time.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our business and employees.  We will continue to keep you updated during these challenging times.

Wishing you and your loved ones an abundance of health and safety,

Sheila Nikolich & Sarah O’Donnell - Salon Owners, Ohana Family Salon
